Hero Central Studio's primary business is the creation of work-for-hire science fiction, fantasy, and action-adventure sequential art for a variety of clients such as publishers, film makers, video game developers, advertising agencies, and not-for-profit organizations. In effect, we can provide illustrations, graphic design, comic books, storyboards, model sheets, commission works, character design elements, scripting, editing, and all areas of graphic novel creation (except for printing). Customers pay a flat rate for the productuion of these items as well as custom comics packages. Hero Central Studio typically commits to deliver finished art within 30-90 days.

Because the fees to customers are set at a competitive rate to draw in business, our artists commit to a page rate set in advance with the agreement of the client-artist arrangement based on the project. We agree to commit to the required deadline and deliver quality work on time.

Custom Comics

Hero Central Studio does also create Custom Comics Packages. Custom comics and graphic novels are the whole deal—a full-color or black-and-white comic book made entirely to your specifications. Pay one flat fee and Hero Central Studio illustrates the entire project start to finish, delivering to you hi-resolution, printer-ready digital files (printing not included). All costs are covered. This includes writing/scripting, penciling, inking, coloring, lettering, and cover art. Graphic novels are comics consisting of 64 pages or more. These can take 6-12 months to complete.

Contact us with your comic ideas, provide scripts, sketches or any other material to help us with the comic development. We will prepare a finished outline, synopsis, script, and layouts—all in collaboration with you, then proceed to the finished art. You have the ability to approve the work at each step.

Hero Central Studio offers competitive rates in the industry. Our standard packages include everything you need to make a fully lettered black-and-white or full-colored comic for your needs, digest-size, manga-sized, or standard-sized formats. We will give you a digital PDF'd version of your release free of charge. One flat fee is all that's required, 50% paid up front, and 50% paid upon delivery. Graphic novels require only a 25% deposit down and are paid in 25% increments thereafter.

Q&A

Q: So how do I get my comic printed?
A: Once Hero Central Studio has completed your project, we recommend a series of print-on-demand printers who can publish your comic in color or black-and-white, such as Ka-Blam.com and Comixpress.

Q: What about promotions and marketing for my project?
A: Hero Central Studio can assist you by creating full-color art to market your comic or to place and develop a preview website linked to our online store.

Q: How can I get a quote?
A: Project pricing no doubt can be negotiated for larger projects or comcis with different page counts. Some projects may be broken down by services, thus varying totals in the quote or may need to receive a more specific cost proposal.
